Therapy

Seeing a therapist can help you if you are feeling anxious or distressed or if you have a difficult decision to make. Maybe a current difficulty has made you aware of unresolved issues from your past.

The therapy relationship will provide you with a confidential place in which you can talk through your thoughts and feelings. It is a place where you will be listened to without judgement and where you will be helped to draw on your own resources to find the solutions that are best for you.

Therapy can sometimes be painful and feel like hard work but, in my experience, people feel it has been worthwhile when they notice improvements in their day-to-day life and a greater sense of well-being.

I work with a wide range of issues and my particular areas of interest include: relationship issues; issues concerning families and young people; miscarriage and neonatal bereavement; difficulties with food and body image; depression and low self-esteem; personal development
